Do the Santorum!

Well, another Sunday night going to be pretty spectacularly...uneventful. Instead of possibly watching Netflix, let's have a go at a man that we all have heard of a lot in the past months...
Mr Rick Santorum

Now, I honestly do understand that people will vote for who they believe best personifies the role of the President of the United States...but honestly? This guy is just creepy...that smile, the way he is obsessed with what gay sex is, it makes you wonder what exactly this guy is made of...

Thanks to our friends over at unicornbooty.com, it appears hes just a great compilation of gay sex, his worst fear. I really don't see what his problem with lesbians, gays, bi-s, etc, since they have nothing to do with what his family does and doesn't affect the ideals of a family structure. His reasoning for the bible as why gayness is wrong is a bad source in and of itself, as it is one belief that a bunch of homophobes seem to share.

Which actually brings me to the next part of the Santorum that really just irks me, in that he believes that colleges and higher institutions are nothing more than a population brain-washing liberal sanctuary which encourages (his explanation was more like "makes") believers question their faith and turns them to the "dark" side. Instead of looking into the reasons why one may look into other explanations for how the world works, Mr. Santorum, as well as most of his conservative fellows, would rather stay content with knowledge that has been as yet garnered rather than look into other possibilities to our existence.

I'm not trying to promote one view or the other, although I'm sure it is well aware which I support. It is one's own choice what they choose to believe, and the offering of other ideas or learnings is not some liberal agenda, but instead a spread of cultural differences converging in one place where they can be shared and develop.

Essentially, this man being the leader of the US is one of the most questionable moves that the American people can make, and would be a step in the extremely wrong direction to the betterment of mankind.

Thoughts?
